Widener University's Honors Program Scholarships are open to entering undergraduate first year students accepted into the The Honors Program in General Education. Students will be invited to join The Honors Program in General Education based on their high school academic performance. The scholarship will be awarded for up to 4 years. Transfer students may participate if they still have general education requirements to complete. Freshmen applicants may submit an admissions essay or SAT/ACT scores. As part of the test-optional admissions process, students may choose between these two requirements. They do not need to submit both. Students may also choose to include letters of recommendation with their application. These letters are not required.
