The HOPE Aspire Award is a need-based supplement to the HOPE Scholarship. Students may receive up to $750 per semester as a supplement to the HOPE Scholarship if they attend four-year institutions. Students may receive up to $250 per semester as a supplement to the HOPE Scholarship if they attend two-year institutions. Applicants must meet Tennessee HOPE Scholarship requirements and must have parents' or independent student's and spouse's adjusted gross income of $36,000 or less on IRS tax form. Students can apply for both the HOPE scholarship and the Aspire supplement by completing the FAFSA. Applications must be received by September 1st for fall semester, March 1st for spring semester and May 1st for summer semester. Early application is recommended.
