The Hope College Distinguished Artist Awards in Theatre are for high school seniors and transfer students who intend to enroll at Hope College in the fall of 2027. Graduating seniors in high school and transfer students who intend to enroll in the fall of 2027 and are considering majoring or minoring in theatre at Hope are encouraged to apply. Students must prepare a portfolio of their theatre and related work to present to the department. The theatre department holds the majority of DAA auditions and interviews on our annual DAA Day on Friday, March 5, 2027. It is highly recommended that the students attend on DAA Day; however, if they are unable to attend, alternate dates and recorded auditions are accepted. All videos must be received, or alternative dates must be concluded by March 1, 2027. All candidates must have visited campus prior to or on March 5 to be considered. Students may visit the scholarship's website or contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
