The John Clarence De Cleene Scholarship supports one or more graduate or undergraduate students from an underrepresented group or population in the Department of Gender and Women's Studies. Preference will be given to students with interests in Political Science, and/or government programs with the potential to enhance gender diversity. Graduate students may be conducting research in a field related to sexual diversity or are conducting research in political science or government programs that have the potential to enhance gender diversity, and have a demonstrated interest in a career in federal or state government. Undergraduate students may be majoring in LGBTQ Studies or majoring in political science or government programs that have the potential to enhance gender diversity, and have a demonstrated interest in a career in federal or state government.
