Description

The Kjell and Vicki Nielsen Scholarship is for graduating seniors from a public high school in San Diego County who plan to attend an accredited four-year university, community college or career/technical school in San Diego County and will enroll in at least 9 credit hours per semester. Applicants must be foreign-born or have parents who were foreign born. They must also have parents who have never earned a degree from a community college or four-year university. Applicants must be actively involved in serving their community as demonstrated by a minimum 100 hours of community service while in high school.
