Korean-American Scholarship Foundation Eastern Regional Chapter Scholarships

Description

The Korean-American Scholarship Foundation Eastern Regional Chapter Scholarships are for students at a school in one of the designated Eastern region states. Applicants must be of Korean heritage (i.e., have a Korean parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent, or be adopted from Korea). They must be a direct descendant of a Korean-War Veteran who served in Korea from June 25, 1950 to January 31, 1955 (Korean War Era, as designated by the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs). High School Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors scholarships will be awarded based on achievement (not based on financial need). High School Seniors scholarships will be given to those with plans to attend college in the 2023-2024 school year. College Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors must be attending a school within the Eastern region. College Seniors must be planning to attend a graduate or professional school in the Eastern region during the 2023-2024 school year. They must submit a letter of acceptance from the graduate or professional school. Graduate Students must be continuing their studies in the 2023-2024 school year at a school within the Eastern region.
