Outstanding Information Science Teacher Award

Description

This award recognizes and honors excellence in teaching in information science. Nominee must be directly engaged in teaching some aspect of information science on a continuing basis, in an academic or a non-academic setting. Nominees need not be associated with an educational institution; however, teaching information science must represent a significant work responsibility although it need not occur within the traditional classroom. Workshops, speeches, publications, and presentations, in addition to academic courses, can also be used to teach information science.
