The Rutgers First-Year Student Awards are open to students who apply for fall admission by December 1 and are offered admission to at least one school at Rutgers-New Brunswick. Students are selected according to their first choice Rutgers-New Brunswick school, academic strength and performance, financial need, overall competitiveness of the applicant pool, and available funding.
