Sun Country Airlines will be awarding a scholarship to an applicant who is passionate and determined about becoming a career pilot and soaring to new heights. In addition to WAI requirements, the applicant must be pursuing a career to become a professional career pilot; already hold a Private Pilot certificate; and/or be in pursuit of an advanced pilot certificate or rating. Funds will be paid directly to the flight school to be applied to the recipient's account and must be used within a year of receiving the award. All applicants must be current WAI members with an expiration date of March 30, 2026 or later. Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation. Letters should not be from family members.
