Associated General Contractors Education and Research Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

Description

The AGC Education and Research Foundation offers undergraduate level scholarships to students enrolled in ABET, ACCE and some ATMAE-accredited construction management or construction related engineering programs. High school seniors are not eligible. Applicants must be a rising college sophomore or junior in a four-year program, or a rising senior in a five-year program at the time the scholarship is awarded in the fall of 2026. Junior and senior level applicants must have one full academic year of coursework remaining at the time of application deadline in the fall of 2026 term. Second-year students at a two-year school who are planning to transfer to a four-year program for the fall 2026 term are also eligible to apply. Applicants must desire a career in the construction industry. They must pursue a BS degree in construction or construction-related engineering. A dual degree with construction or construction-related engineering as one part is acceptable. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or documented permanent resident of the United States. Applicants must submit two personal recommendations, one from a faculty member or advisor and one from an employer. The scholarship may be renewable for up to three years of undergraduate study. All applicants selected as finalists will be invited to a personal interview with a representative of the AGC Education and Research Foundation.
