Undergraduate students will automatically be considered for merit scholarships upon admission to the university. There is no additional application necessary for general admission scholarships. The University of New Hampshire Trustee's Scholarship will be awarded to students with a 4.01 GPA and above. Students may be New Hampshire residents or non-NH residents. NH residents may receive $9,000 and non-NH residents may receive $14,000. Merit scholarships will be awarded to University of New Hampshire's most academically competitive applicants with a weighted recalculated GPA greater than 4.0 in a strong college preparatory curriculum and consistent achievement. Merit scholarships are renewable for up to 4 years (8 consecutive semesters), provided that the student meets the GPA and academic progress requirements.
