Description

Scholarships are awarded to teachers and counselors who were employed full-time in the public schools in California during the preceding academic year, who have a minimum of three years teaching/counseling experience in public schools, who have a full-time teaching/counseling contract for the current year and who plan to continue as a teacher/counselor. Must be a member of a PTA/PTSA unit and teach or have a counseling position at that PTA/PTSA school.


Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a graduate student
  • Must attend a university or a four-year college
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must not be attending high school currently
  • Restricted to residents of California
  • Restricted to students studying in California
  • Restricted to students studying Special Education or Education
  • Restricted to individuals having experience in these volunteer or employment areas: teaching/education
  • Must be affiliated with Parent-Teacher Association/Organization
