Established in 1861, Chapman University Graduate School is a private, coeducational university located in Orange, California in the western region of the United States.

The Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences, Doctor of Physical Therapy program is the oldest running physical therapy program in the United States.

Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences provides students the opportunity to participate in Faculty and Student Research conducted in a world-class facility. Crean College research is divided amongst four areas:
Psychology Labs, Health Science and Physiology Labs, Physical Therapy Labs, and Speech-Language Pathology Labs.

Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders
Students will be prepared to become fully credentialed and licensed speech-language pathologists, clinicians, and/or supervisors in healthcare and education settings. Courses will integrate fieldwork and guided internships.
Department of Physical Therapy
Accredited since 1928, the “Physical Therapy program is the longest Physical Therapy Education program in the United States.” Small class sizes allow for personalized education.
Masters of Arts in Marriage Family Therapy
Graduates will be licensed in California as Marriage and Family Therapists. Students will gain in-person experience for one year at the Chapman University on-site clinic.
Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant Studies Program
The MMS PA Studies Program is a “24 month, full-time, year round cohort model”. Students can find additional information pertaining to the program curriculum.

Chapman University offers an accelerated graduate program. A non-refundable application fee is $60 through the online application system. Students are required to submit all official transcripts; applications will not be considered complete until all materials are received. Most programs require a minimum of two letters of recommendation. Some programs require a statement of intent with specific information included in your statement.
