This program provides grants of up to $5,000 a year toward costs of attendance for college or vocational training. This program is for students who are eligible for the LINKS program and who either were: (a) In foster care on or after their 17th birthday, (b) Adopted from foster care on or after their 16th birthday, or (c) Entered a kinship guardianship placement from foster care on or after their 16th birthday. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or qualified non-citizens and their personal assets (bank account, car, home, etc.) are worth less than $10,000. Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible students. Applicants must complete the ETV application which includes documentation each semester that is sent directly from the school to ETV confirming enrollment, the cost of attendance (COA) and unmet need.
