Focus of faculty research:

Life Sciences: Bioinformatics, Cell/Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry. Pharmaceutical Sciences: Rational Drug Design, Synthesis, Characterization, Pharmacology, Toxicology, disease origins, Molecular Modeling/Docking, and CADD. Materials Science & Engineering: Polymer processing, catalysis for sustainability, biocompatible biomaterials, functional coatings/films, and enhanced composites.
