You’ve earned a college degree and have made the commitment to pursue graduate school. Whether you’re heading to graduate school right after completing your college degree or seeking a graduate degree to advance your career, Peterson’s is here to help you finance it. Read our list of nine scholarships to help fund your education.

  1. President’s Scholarship for Graduate Students
    This award is given to a graduate student who demonstrates both financial need and academic achievement; the award can vary from $500 up to full tuition. Applicants must be considered a non-traditional student, be enrolled full-time in a four-year program at an accredited college or university, and demonstrate their contribution to their college and community. Hurry, you must apply by August 30th!
    Amount awarded: $500+
  2. ASHFoundation Graduate Student Scholarship for Minority Students
    This scholarship was created for students who are members of a racial or ethnic minority group and are U.S. citizens. The applicant must be accepted for or enrolled in graduate study in a full-time audiology/communication sciences and disorders program.
    Amount awarded: $5,000
  3. Graduate Scholarship
    This award is aimed at increasing graduate enrollment at public post-secondary institutions for students from underrepresented groups in graduate education. Students must attend a university full-time.
    Amount awarded: $7,200
  4. Graduate Technology Scholarship For Military Veterans
    If you are a veteran or veteran’s spouse/partner, or child seeking a graduate education in an accredited technology degree program, this scholarship is for you. Summer deadline is quickly approaching! You must apply by August 15th.
    Amount awarded: $1,000
  5. Graduate Scholarships – Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering/Management
    Applicants must be either a college senior enrolled in an ABET or ACCE-accredited construction or civil engineering program, or a person possessing an undergraduate construction or civil engineering degree from an accredited program. Applicants must be enrolled, or planning to enroll, as a full-time student in a construction graduate degree program or a part-time student in a recognized masters’/doctoral program.
    Amount awarded: $3,250+
  6. Scholarship for Academic Studies/Graduate
    Scholarships are available to students who hold a university degree and want to pursue full-time advanced studies at the graduate level. Awards are given for an initial period of one academic year and may be renewed for up to one additional year if the renewal is necessary to complete the program of study or research for which the scholarship was initially awarded.
    Amount awarded: $10,000
  7. Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship
    This award is designated for racially/ethnically diverse students enrolled in their final year of a healthcare management graduate program. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or a Canadian citizen, and be a full-time graduate student attending a university.
    Amount awarded: $5,000
  8. Graduate Scholarship – Latino STEM Students
    The MAES Scholarship Program was established to increase the number of Latino students completing their higher education goals and are awarded to student members in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Scholarship applications are evaluated on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, leadership, community service, and personal merits.

  9. GEICO Graduate Award
    Five scholarships are awarded annually to deserving, talented, and motivated NSCS members who are continuing their education. Applicants must be accepted into and entering a graduate or PhD degree-seeking program in the fall following the application period.
    Amount awarded: $2,500
