The Lee University Experience

Lee University is a private, comprehensive university located in Cleveland, TN, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Lee is emerging as a leader in higher education in the southeastern region and was ranked in 2011 in the Top Tier in the South by "U.S. News and World Report" in the category of Comprehensive Medium-Size Universities. Lee is also ranked by "The Princeton Review's" Best Colleges and is now one of the 141 colleges named Best in the Southeast.

Over the past 2 decades, Lee has become one of the largest Christ-centered private institutions in Tennessee and the largest in the Appalachian College Association. During that period, the university has undergone a remarkable transformation that has included significant growth in academic programs, student enrollment, faculty member expertise and diversity, and expanded sense of mission and vision.

Lee's graduate programs serve adult students with various professional interests and diverse personal histories. Flexible scheduling for part-time and full-time students and personal attention from experts and practitioners in wide-ranging professional fields enable students to find niches for their personal goals and their intellectual progress in their chosen fields of study.

Thirty-nine degree programs are offered at Lee University for master's degrees in those fields within the following colleges or schools: College of Arts and Sciences (Counseling, M.B.A.), Helen DeVos College of Education, School of Music, and School of Religion. The Ed. S. degree program is offered within the Helen DeVos College of Education.
