Quinnipiac’s campuses are state-of-the-art and architecturally distinctive. Highlights include the Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences on the North Haven Campus, a cutting-edge facility featuring 24 teaching laboratories and extensive resources, including an operating room with high fidelity simulation rooms and a state-of-the-industry radiology suite. On the Hamden Campus, the Ed McMahon Mass Communications Center is a first-rate production facility equipped with industry standard technology for hands-on training in all aspects of television, film, journalism and multimedia production, including three-camera HDTV studio, professional-quality audio production studio and 4K editing suites. Also located on the Hamden Campus is the Financial Technology Center, a well-equipped investment and trading center designed to incorporate both team-based and individual research and analysis and real-time access to financial market data feeds, including 12 Bloomberg Professional Terminals and unlimited access to S&P Capital IQ for financial, accounting and industry data.
Clinical and Experiential Opportunities
The university offers graduate students an abundance of practical and fieldwork experiences, many of which are built into the programs. From hospitals, research labs and schools to corporate offices, nonprofits and newsrooms, Quinnipiac graduate students gain experience, build their networks, and position themselves for employment opportunities. In many programs, clinical coordinators within the individual department work closely with students to establish them in their fieldwork placements, taking much of the guesswork out of securing high-quality practical experiences.
