Description

The Helen Bichum Trust for Students with Disabilities provides financial assistance to students with disabilities and special needs. The Trust provides support to assist students with the cost of adaptive technologies, such as speech enabled computers for blind or visually impaired students, blinking lights and vibration devices to help hearing-impaired students, robotic arms and other assistive devices for people with dexterity or mobility impairment, and software to help students with learning and developmental disabilities deal more effectively with reading and writing tasks.
