  1. National Poultry and Food Distributors Association Scholarship Foundation
    This scholarship is awarded to full-time students in their junior or senior years at a U.S. college pursuing a degree in poultry science, food science, food marketing, agricultural business, or other related areas of study pertaining to the poultry and food industries.
    Amount awarded: $4,000
  2. General Mills Graduate Scholarship and Internship
    General Mills will award one candidate a $4,800 tuition scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. Applicants must be a full-time graduate student enrolled in an MS or Ph.D. food science program with an interest in research & development/packaging or food safety/quality.
    Amount awarded: $4,800
  3. Schwan’s Food Service Scholarship
    Eligible applicants must be an active member for a minimum of one year with the School Nutrition Association (SNA), have a history of employment in school food service, and be enrolled (or will be enrolled) in a degree or certificate program at a U.S. vocational/technical, undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate level.
    Amount awarded: $2,500
  4. Gerber Foundation Endowment in Pediatric Nutrition
    The Gerber Foundation Endowment in Pediatric Nutrition program was designed to assist students who plan to continue their education. Recipients must be pursuing an MS or PhD degree in food science with an interest in pediatric nutrition.
    Amount awarded: $3,000
  5. IFT Food Engineering Division Scholarship
    The IFT Food Engineering Division Scholarship assists students who plan to continue their education by pursuing an undergraduate degree in food science. Applicants must be a full-time or part-time student attending a four-year college and study food science/nutrition.
    Amount awarded: $1,500
  6. Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation Scholarship Program
    The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation is proud to serve as the largest provider of dietetic scholarships to deserving students at all levels of study. Eligible applicants must be full-time or part-time graduate students.
    Amount awarded: $2,377
  7. Feeding Tomorrow Freshman Scholarship
    Feeding Tomorrow awards annual scholarships to freshmen students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a variety of disciplines within the science of food. Applicants must attend a four-year college full-time and study food science/nutrition.
    Amount awarded: $1,500
  8. NMPF National Dairy Leadership Scholarship Program
    This scholarship is available to students currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in the U.S. who are actively pursuing a dairy-related field of research that will directly benefit dairy cooperatives, dairy farmers, or the U.S. dairy industry. Recommended fields of study include, but are not limited to, agriculture communications and journalism, animal health, animal and/or human nutrition, bovine genetics, dairy products processing, dairy science, economics, environmental science, food science, food safety, herd management, and marketing and price analysis.
    Amount awarded: $1,900
  9. Association for Food and Drug Officials Scholarship Awards
    Scholarship applicants should demonstrate a desire to serve in a career of research, regulatory work, quality control, or teaching in an area related to some aspect of food, drugs, or consumer product safety and leadership capabilities. Eligible applicants must be full-time students attending a university or a four-year college.
    Amount awarded: $1,500
  10. Synergy Flavors Internship and Scholarship
    Synergy Flavors is seeking extraordinary undergraduate students pursuing degrees in food science. There are three application areas for this opportunity including applications lab intern, flavor creation, and research and analytical intern. You must be an undergraduate student attending a university, four-year college, two-year college, or a vocational-tech school.
    Amount awarded: $1,500
