All Ecampus courses and degree programs are designed by Oregon State faculty and are held to the same rigorous academic standards as the university's on-campus classes. OSU is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, and all Ecampus students who complete degree requirements receive the same diploma as campus-based students.
Oregon State's distance learners include full- and part-time students, working and retired professionals, community college students, active-duty and retired military, and individuals who want to further their education with a single college course. Ecampus delivers more than 50 degree and certificate programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, OSU offers 20 chemistry labs and courses and 12 foreign languages online. Applications and Admissions
Use this step-by-step guide to navigate the application process at Oregon State University. Application deadlines vary for each of OSU's four academic terms. Check the OSU Office of Admissions website for current deadline dates. The admissions process at OSU takes approximately four to six weeks for undergraduate degree-seeking students after all required documents have been received by the admissions office.
Undergraduate Degrees Online
OSU Ecampus delivers more than 20 undergraduate bachelor's degrees online, with new programs added regularly. Students may pursue a degree in fields of study that include agricultural sciences; business administration; natural resources; environmental sciences; computer science; liberal studies; psychology; and foreign languages.
Graduate Degrees and Certificates Online
Oregon State Ecampus delivers nearly 30 graduate degree programs and certificates online, all developed by OSU’s renowned faculty.
Students can pursue an Oregon State MBA in one of four dynamic tracks: MBA in Organizational Leadership, MBA in Business Analytics, MBA in Innovation Management, and MBA in Supply Chain and Logistics Management. These tracks are offered in a variety of formats that fit the lifestyle or working professionals: 100 percent online or online with in-person classes in either Portland or Bend, Oregon.
Oregon State’s highly successful on-campus Master of Public Policy program is now delivered online. This nationally accredited program provides students with a variety of options to customize the program to best meet their education and professional goals.
Engineering professionals who are moving into leadership can enroll in Oregon State’s Master of Engineering in Engineering Management program online. This program offers the business acumen found in an MBA program that is customized specifically for engineers.
The College of Forestry, which developed Oregon State's Master of Natural Resources online program, is recognized for having one of the top natural resources programs in the United States. Students will learn from and network with world-renowned OSU faculty members, professionals and scientists. OSU is Oregon's largest public research university and the state's only land grant university.
The College of Education provides a number of programs online for professional and aspiring educators. Practicing K-12 teachers who want to specialize in advanced STEM education can choose the Master of Science in Science Education or Mathematics Education degree program. There are master’s programs for K-12 education, school counseling and adult education, along with a doctorate program in community college leadership.
