Online Bachelor of Arts Programs

California University of Pennsylvania has four five online Bachelor of Arts (BA) programs: the BA in Arabic Language and Culture (115 credits), BA in Jurisprudence-Land Management Concentration (43 major credits), BA in Jurisprudence-Legal Studies Concentration (42 major credits), BA in Liberal Studies (60 major credits) and BA in Sociology-Social Deviance Concentration (60 major credits).

The BA in Arabic Language and Culture program can be completed in 4 years of full-time study. Students who enter the other programs with associate degrees can complete them in two years or less.

Online Bachelor of Science Programs

The university also offers four online Bachelor of Science (BS) programs: the BS in Computer Information Systems (61 major credits), BS in Criminal Justice-Homeland and International Security Concentration (60 major credits), Registered Nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (33 major credits), and BS in Sport Management Studies-Wellness and Fitness Concentration (74 major credits).

These programs can be completed in the following timeframes:

BS in Computer Information Systems -- 24 months

BS in Criminal Justice-Homeland and International Security --16 months

BS in Sport Management Studies-Wellness and Fitness -- 24 months

RN to BSN -- 3 semesters

Online Graduate Programs

California University of Pennsylvania provides the following online graduate programs:

- Master of Art (MA) in Applied Criminology

- MA in Conflict Resolution

Online MBA

Students in the online MBA program can complete the traditional MBA or MBA Entrepreneurship program in as few as 12 months. The program's curriculum consists of 36 credits of coursework as well as a comprehensive exam.

Online MS in Legal Studies

Students in the online MS in Legal Studies program take 36-37 credits of courses. They can complete one of three concentrations: criminal justice, homeland security, or law and public policy.

They achieve several objectives related to jurisprudence and legal analysis including the following:

- Analyze and interpret case law, statutory materials, and other legal documents

- Conduct legal research on diverse areas in law

- Advocate for and effectively argue legal issues

- Develop and write a brief, memoranda, paper, or thesis

Online MSN-Nursing Administration and Leadership

The 30-credit MSN in Nursing Administration and Leadership program prepares students for leadership positions such as charge nurses, clinical project leaders, nurse executives, and nurse managers. Program features include the following:

- Completion in 20 months

- No residences or campus visits

- Highly skilled faculty members

- No more than 35 students per class

Cal U also offers a dual MSN-MBA degree and a MBA option for MSN degree holders.

Financial Aid at California University of Pennsylvania

Undergraduate students in the university's Global Online programs may qualify for grants, scholarships, and federal loans. Online graduate students may receive scholarships and federal loans.

He also wrote a book about managing cyber-liability risks.

Dr. John Cencich, Applied Criminology program coordinator, is the former Lead War Crimes Investigator for the United Nations and recently starred in The History Channel’s “Hunting Hitler.”
