Established in 1919, the Western New England University is a private, coeducational university located in Springfield, Massachusetts in the northeastern region of the United States.
A leader in preparing students for careers in the dynamic global environment, the university has a diverse range of programs from engineering, science, and pharmacy to the arts, business, and law. It consists of five academic schools that provide career-oriented programs and experiential learning.
Western New England became a university in 2011. The main campus has expanded from its original 34 acres to 215 acres, containing 28 major buildings and numerous athletic and recreational fields.
The University is ranked as one of the Best National Universities in the U.S. New and World Report America’s Best Colleges.
