Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship Program

Description

Surviving cancer is an extraordinary achievement, but the journey doesn't stop there. The Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship Program empowers childhood cancer survivors to take the next step by pursuing their dreams in higher education. These annual scholarships celebrate the resilience and determination that have carried them through their fight and into a new chapter of growth and opportunity. Applicants must be childhood cancer survivors under the age of 25 and diagnosed before the age of 18 with cancer or a high grade or anaplastic brain tumor. They must also be citizens of the United States living within the country and attending school in the U.S. Applicants must be attending an accredited post-secondary or graduate school in the fall of 2026. High school seniors may apply. High school senior applicants must submit official transcripts that include final grades for all courses taken from 9th grade to the most recently completed semester of high school along with GPA. Home-schooled senior applicants must submit transcripts of the courses completed with grades, GPA, supporting test scores (ACT or SAT optional) and any other information that validates successful completion of high school curriculum. College students must submit official transcripts that include final grades for all courses taken from freshman year to the most recently completed semester along with GPA. If only one semester of college has been completed, an official high school transcript and college semester transcript are required. All applicants must submit a letter from a medical professional confirming their cancer diagnosis. If the diagnosis is a brain tumor, the letter must state the grade of the brain tumor. Applications and required materials may be submitted through mail or email. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
