Dissertation Fellowship

Description

In order to be considered qualified for the Dissertation Fellowship, applicants must be on track to advance to candidacy in a PhD program at an accredited university by 7/1/2021, and must have advanced to candidacy by the start date of 7/1/2021. International applicants are welcome to apply. We seek Dissertation Scholars working in Interdisciplinary, Social Science, Humanities, and STEM disciplines whose research focus is specifically situated within Black Studies. The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research and teaching. Applications should include the ff: cover letter, 3-4 page dissertation synopsis, dissertation chapter, and sample syllabi.
