The ESA Distinguished Service Award to the Certification Program aims to encourage, recognize, and reward outstanding contributions to the ESA Certification Program and the professionalism of entomology. Nominees are required to be Board or Associate Certified Entomologists. Applicants must submit a Letter of Nomination, which includes a brief explanation of how the nominee excelled in contributions to: Professionalism; Science; and the community. Applicants must also submit information about their professional activities; certification activities; and other information such as awards, honors, achievements, mentoring, publications, professional memberships, etc. Please visit the award's website or contact the Entomological Society of America for more information.
