The Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (RMIT University) will be awarded to Professionals or Senior Academics with a PhD or other terminal degree. Research at RMIT aims to solve critical global problems and to create value from research which provides others outside the academic community pathways to deliver the ultimate positive economic, societal and environmental impacts. The role of the Distinguished Scholar gives exceptional senior scholars from the United States an opportunity to pursue research and/or practice of importance to RMIT in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation. Scholars are encouraged to collaborate with the host institution and give workshops or short seminars, but should not teach intensive seminars or coursework. Applications are sought in the fields of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This award is open to senior academics who will be at the level of Associate or Full Professor by the grant start date, with a distinguished career in the proposed field. Equivalent qualified candidates outside of academia (practitioners) in industry or government with a research background and track record in innovation and entrepreneurship are also welcome to apply. For academics who are not at the level of Associate or Full Professor at the time of application, but will be by grant start, they must include information about their career progression and timeline in their personal or project statement.
