The role of the Distinguished Scholar gives exceptional senior scholars from the United States an opportunity to pursue research and/or practice of importance to RMIT in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation. Final grant amounts will be determined prior to the start of the academic year and are subject to the availability of funds. The United States Department of State and the Fulbright Commission in the host country reserve the right to alter, without notice, participating countries, number of awards and allowances. Open to senior academics who will be at the level of Associate or Full Professor by the grant start date, with a distinguished career in the proposed field. Equivalent qualified candidates outside of academia (practitioners) in industry or government with a research background and track record in innovation and entrepreneurship are also welcome to apply. For academics who are not at the level of Associate or Full Professor at the time of application, but will be by grant start, please include information about your career progression and timeline in your personal or project statement, Ph.D. (or other terminal degree) required.
