Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarship in Multiple Disciplines (The University of Newcastle)

Description

The Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarship award enables postdoctoral candidates to undertake research of importance to the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. It is hoped that this award will provide scholars with an opportunity to contribute to this relationship, and the nominated area of priority that is relevant to the future of our regions and the world. This scholarship will support a 3-10-month position. While the University of Newcastle will consider any relevant research proposal, the following four engagement priorities build on the significant track record of success and the strengths of our university, and that reflect the issues and opportunities relevant to the future of our regions and our world: Better, healthier living; Connected communities; Next generation resources; and Growing industries. Please contact the University of Newcastle which will facilitate the discussion of the projects and to assist in obtaining the required letter of invitation. This scholarship is open to applicants who have completed their Ph.D. within the last five years; those with more recently completed degrees preferred. Applicants must attain their doctorate by the proposed start date of their grant. Following the review process, short-listed applicants will be invited for a Zoom interview with a Fulbright Selection Committee in Australia.
