The college application process can be stressful for both the student and their parents. To get a handle on things, we talked to Louise Williams, owner and consultant at Gateways to College, LLC. Williams offered several tips for maintaining a balance between being holding your child accountable and nagging or straining your relationship.

This is easier said than done, but knowing what to do and what not to do can help you help avoid arguments and instead help your child. Having solid communication and a plan will allow both you and your child to have a positive college applications experience.
